Game is played with mouse
Hanger is all about swinging a stickman from ropes while dodging traps that want nothing more than to rip you apart. The stickman starts whole, but one wrong move and you’ll lose limbs faster than you can say “oops.” You’ve got to master the art of swinging, letting go, and grabbing onto the next rope at just the right moment. Mess up, and you’re either splattered on the ground or shredded by some spinning saw blades. Timing is everything here. You can’t just fling yourself around recklessly—every swing needs to feel precise, like you’re planning three moves ahead. But even then, the game loves throwing surprises your way. Saws pop up in unexpected spots, spikes appear where they shouldn’t, and narrow gaps leave you sweating as you try not to clip a limb. It’s chaotic, but that’s half the fun. The levels don’t hold back either. The further you go, the nastier the traps. Some stages feel straight-up impossible until you figure out the exact rhythm needed to pull off a perfect swing. Patience is key, but frustration will probably hit before you manage to finish the hardest levels. What’s wild is how much of a difference small mistakes make. Maybe you swing a little too early or too late—bam, your stickman’s hanging on with one arm, flailing wildly as you try to recover. There’s no safety net here. It’s all you, the rope, and whatever crazy obstacle the game decided to throw in next. If you like games where you fail a hundred times but still can’t stop playing, Hanger is definitely your vibe.
